Hey Eleanor! I Made A Podcast!

Holy crap guys. After three years of the Go Fork Yourself podcast, I finally figured out how to do this stuff all on my own. Or at least I think I did. I’m a little nervous about how the first-ever Hey Eleanor Podcast turned out, but ya know what? It’s better to be done & put it out there versus having it be perfect & waiting forever.

I’m planning on having lots of guests on the show, but since this was the debut episode, I figured I best be telling people about who I am and what I’m all about. Therefore, this one is just me talking.

I really appreciate your honest feedback, so please feel free to reach out.

If you like the show, please rate it on iTunes. Want to leave a review? Excellent! Both help people find the show (& the more positive rates and reviews I get, the more likely iTunes is to promote it).

STUFF I TALKED ABOUT THIS WEEK:

Here’s some pics from our road trip to Vermont.

Want to see me jump out of a plane and not die? Here ya go.

A link to all eight minutes of my stand-up comedy set.

Last but not least, my hunting video (not for the faint of heart).

Hope you enjoyed the show.

I love the line about it not being hard to find scary things to do. Scary things are all over the place if you’re actively looking for them!

That is 10000 percent true. Try to think about it as you go through your day and you will be shocked.

Since you said you like people to share, I thought I’d tell you about the scary thing my husband and I are going to do in a week and a half. We are moving from Anchorage, AK to Spokane, WA! Scary. I’m nervous to be in a new town with no family or close friends nearby. I hope to be able to get past myself and do fun things in a new place. Do you have any advice for me as I start this new adventure?

That sounds exciting AND scary! My biggest piece of advice is to think of it as an opportunity to be a tourist in your own town. Explore like crazy. Also, try to become a regular somewhere– your local coffee shop, bar, restaurant. Find your own Cheers & get to know the people who work there. Makes life more fun.
